Wednesday- after work, Jared and I left for salt lake city to see the festival of trees. we got to see lots of really cool trees. for example, there was this HUGE one that was made of glass entirly. it was incredable. they also had a whole bunch of princess trees, fire truck trees, and a ton of twilight trees. no surprise there. but it was lots of fun. Harley got to make a really cute reindeer spoon, and a hat. and i got to eat a really good cinamon sugar scone. yum!
Friday-
as with every weekend, practically, Jared and i went and saw a movie. this movie was called "The punisher" and it a sequal to the first, i think. pretty much, the gist is this man/copish guy goes after villians of all sorts and kills them, while the cops are as well after him. one particular pretty boy mobster was his target for the movie. near the beginning, he tried to kill him by throwing him into a glass crusher thingy. but he survived and wanted revenge, naturally. and the bad guy broke his insane bro James, out of the asylum (looney bin jim) and its a movie about them going after each other. it was ok
Saturday-
nothing really big happened today, except Jared took me to the Golden Corral, it was extremely busy, with like 4 big parties going on, and they put us at a really bad table. but other then that, it was a really good dinner, and it was nice to be with Jared on another date!
Sunday-
i wake up to breakfast that Jared got up early to make. he made pancakes, eggs, and bacon. He made my pancakes special tho. it said i <3> that night we were planning to go see Christmas Village in ogden, and i was so excited for the Freakin sun to go down. finally, at about 5:30, we left, stopping by Cheveron on the way for some Hot Cocoa we got to the village, and walked thru the park and looked at all the neat exhibits. there was oe that i really like because it was the nightmare before christmas, and it was really cool. they also had a lot of trains, and toy shops, and even one where the Grinch had two elf copes locked up in the jail with "wanted" posters of him everywhere. after christmas village we werent quite ready to go home yet, so we drove down to layton park to see there lights. after walking around there for some time, we headed back to the car. Jared stopped at some picnic tables and put his arms around me and said "Nikki, i love you! you should Marry ." then he started laughing cuz he broke a fortune cookie in his pocket, which he has been snacking on all day. i laughed too and said "i think that is considered bad luck somewhere." he frowned and gave it to me, and said "here its yours then." i laughed and opened it and the fortune said "and old wish will come true." i giggled, boy i hope so. then he turned the paper around and on the back he had written "will you marry me?" by this time, there was alot of jumping and sqealing, and lots of funny sounds coming from me. ha ha. it was seariously like the BEST weekend in my life. then we went home and had BLTs. they were yummy :D
ok, so i am now engaged!!!!!!! YES!!! you have no idea how much i love that feeling. ha ha but that is how it played out!
