Crazy Christopher - Dec 1 - Topher's Gift to Lexi

Christopher (Topher) Pop-In-Kins arrived especially early today, and today he brought Lexi a Surprise!!!!  He told me that he knows that he will miss the North Pole while he is down here, so he decided to bring the North Pole here!!!  Alexia is more then welcome to play with it whenever she wants, and she can have it until Christmas Eve, then it needs to go back home with him :)

 So Topher brought the play set in

 and ALL by himself, he pushed it up onto the Coffee Table

 PHEW! That was hard work for such a little elf!!!!!

 Needs to be somewhere up high, so Lexi doesnt touch him!!  If a child touches an Elf, he needs to go back home so Santa can restore his magic!!!  and that would spoil everyone's fun......

Christmas Eve!

So this was Lexi's first Christmas! i was so excited to be able to try new traditions, as well as continue some old! first thing we did was get us a new camera because, well...our old one sucks! so now i have pretty pics to show you!
we still have a pretty small tree, and this year i decided to let Jared decorate it with halloween stuff because he has wanted to for a while, so here is our Halloween Tree



















I wanted to do something differant this year as a tradition, so we decided to let Lexi have her own tree. something that upcoming years, she can decorate how she likes! well, she is too little so i decorated it for her this year with some of her toys!

Christmas Eve, we made some cookies for Santa, and Lexi wrote her first letter to Santa. since most people cant talk baby, i translated it for you all to read. of course since it was mama that helped bake, and not Daddy, the cookies didnt come out very pretty.....

We also made Grandma and Grandpa Thompson, and Grandma and Harley some ornaments. they turned out so cute!
It was such a fun day, but it started getting late, and Santa was gonna come soon, so Lexi opened her first Christmas Eve Pjs and we went to bed for the night!

Lexi's first Halloween!

Lexi celebrated her first holiday, and how great was it that her first was HALLOWEEN!!!

We worked hard, like every year, to get the house all decorated for the holiday. here are some pics of our house!
Lexi actually had 2 costumes this year. Lexi gets to be cute every single day of the year, so for Halloween, we wanted her to be scary. but they dont make scary costumes for babies..... so we decided to make her one. at first we wanted to make her a zombie baby, but with her being a newborn, we didnt wanna risk the make up. so she was a Zombie hunter instead!
She also had a back up costume for when we did things outside, like the cornmaze, so she would be warmer. here she is as a Bat



DeAnn and Harley came and joined us for homemade rootbeer (witches brew) and chili and breadsticks. Lexi loved playing with the wtiches brew





And what kind of Mother would i be if i didnt let Lexi have her first taste of root beer. i dipped her paci in for a drop. i dont think she really noticed tho

Jared's costume was a Zombie, so Lexi had someone to hunt. Here he is
But of course, she was no match for him (watch for Zombie baby coming soon lol)

And of course, whats Halloween without a yummy brain and bloodworms (thanks DeAnn and Harley for making it)

TUMMY TIME!!!

Lexi is almost 2 months old, and is not very fond of Tummy Time. she usually last a few short minutes until she gets upset. Then her grandma DeAnn got her this fun water toy! now she loves it! Here are some pics:
